When I am in the studio, I want to be able to focus on what I’m there to do – record music. I need the utmost confidence in the technical expertise of the engineer, and when things take unexpected turns (as they always seem to do), what I need, ideally, is resilience. With Jamie, you get more than a sound engineer, or a producer. The way Jamie applies his skills, you get calm, confident, adaptable, and reassuring support. This comes with a high level of broad-based, open-minded, and creatively enriching musical insight.

Jamie joined our event as a volunteer, having answered my invitation for event graduates to work with us over the festival weekend. Having studied Sound Engineering and Production it was an obvious choice to assign him to the Black Box Audio Production Team.

We had 28 acts performing over 3 days with very short changeover times between performers. As part of the technical staff, Jamie delivered a professional service, worked extremely well with other members of the team and was totally dependable throughout.

Therefore, I have no hesitation in recommending Jamie.
